EU delegated cooperation

It is the first EU delegated cooperation project and for the first time in history, SAIDC will be the main implementing body of this European project.

"Delegated cooperation means that entities that have met demanding criteria and been audited by the European Commission can, on its behalf, oversee the implementation of development projects funded by EU funds. The first project of delegated cooperation funded by European Neighbourhood Instrument is an important milestone and a challenge for SAIDC. I am glad that it will be implemented in Moldova, which is a SlovakAid program country and we have extensive experience with development cooperation, " explained the director of SAIDC, Mr Tomáš Bokor.

"By obtaining the authority to carry out the delegated cooperation, SAIDC confirmed that it was a trusted partner and was in a position to effectively administer the entrusted EU funds. This project in Moldova will be an invaluable experience for SAIDC and also represents an opportunity for Slovak entities to participate in development activities financed from the EU budget,” added the State Secretary of Slovak MFEA, Mrs Ingrid Brocková.
