Quality health care with an emphasis on mothers and children in the Masol area

The main goal of the project is to improve the health of the population in the Masol area with an emphasis on mothers and children. Within the project implementation period, the aim is to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality rates in the region (from the current 20% to 5%), increase the number of treated patients to 6,600 and work systematically with the community and folk exhortals, with a total of 450 community members trained. As part of the project, Dr. The Roth Roden Tikit Mission Health Center was to undergo refurbishment of existing premises, establishment of missing wards, purchased equipment, staff training, provision of medical and preventive care, as well as awareness-raising in local communities on the risk of female circumcision.
