Home Projects Provision of basic needs and psychological first aid for internally displaced persons living in shelters in the city of Dnipro and in the suburbs
The project aims to provide material and psychosocial support to the most vulnerable members of the IDP communities in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The project activities will support 1,750 vulnerable households (approx. 7,000 people) in various parts of the region through the distribution of 14,500 food, medicine and drugstores vouchers totaling € 232,000.00 and the creation of a mobile team to ensure the availability of psychosocial "First aid" aimed at alleviating and treating the trauma caused by the ongoing military conflict in the country for more than 2 040 people. The assistance will be provided in coordination with UN clusters, which are helping to coordinate assistance to the victims of the ongoing conflict within the region. The main target group is vulnerable families of internally displaced persons living in temporary conditions in the city of Dnipro and other areas of the Dnepropetrovsk region - families with several children, families with children with disabilities and other health problems, families with seriously ill family members and people of age 60+ with a minimum income.
