Edugame: Girls vs. Poverty

Description

The project focuses on raising awareness of Slovakia's development cooperation under the SlovakAid brand, with the aim of replicating as effectively as possible the complexity of the situation of young people in an environment of poverty on the way to the world of technological innovation. For this purpose, its activities will develop a mobile digital game in the context of the Kenyan innovation accelerator SOTE HUB. The project uses the educational potential of mobile games and the game developed within its activities will be used not only for the purposes of global and development education. With the help of the edu-package, the applicant distributes the game to schools together with the methodology and the digital worksheet and also organizes 3 regional trainings for teachers. Sharing good practice in cooperation with partners from the private sector and the creation and development of mobile software (games and applications) is also one of the planned outputs of the project. The online campaign for the mobile game will take place on social networks.
